Christian Hulu Longomba was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, while his siblings Lovy, Richie and Sister Elley were born in Kenya. Born into a musical family, it was expected that they would follow in their fathers footsteps, the great Lovy Longomba.
The Longomba’s group composed of Christian and Lovy was famous for their popular songs Vuta Pumz, Makofi, Shika more, Dondosa and My Queen which always sent the audience into a dance frenzy .
A highlight of their music carreer was in 2006 when they performed at the Channel O Music awards in South Africa.

The two later left Kenya to live in Los Angeles.
Christian had been unwell since 2015 when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor .He was operated for the same and was doing well until he succumbed on 14th March 2021.
The song ‘My Queen’ continues to be a timeless hit which was the last song done by the duo.
